8(a) Firms

Firms owned and operated by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and eligible to receive federal contracts under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) Business Development Program.  Known also as 8a companies, such firms must comply with federal regulations and procedures to receive full reimbursement for travel and travel related services.
