Our Technology

An investment in technology and a staff that is trained to make maximum use of technology are the keys to providing our clients with superior service. A strong focus on ensuring that the technology is efficient, cost effective and streamlined to meet our customers needs are the primary focus. Through our technology we work directly with the company to make our services an extension of their business by integrating ticketing, billing, and communication.

As the world is driven by technology, so is the travel industry, most travel technology tools fit into three categories: pre-trip reservation manipulation, the reservation process and post trip data. Premiere Travel technology supports the following functions:

Pre Trip

Quality control
Lowest fare search
Seat assignments
Waitlist clearance
Class of service upgrades
Pre trip management reports
Auto ticketing

Post Trip

Management reporting
Ticket tracker
Scheduled client meetings
Savings Analysis

Management Services

Travel policy development
Supplier negotiation
Technology assessment

Following is a list and brief description of some of the many technology tools Premiere Travel uses to support the entire reservation process.

  • Galileo Apollo GDS
Galileo’s “Apollo” airline reservation system is our primary reservation vehicle.
Apollo is a total access system which allows us to offer instant confirmations for airlines worldwide. Apollo’s advanced technology puts all the necessary information at our fingertips.
Galileo 360 Fares including Private and Preferred Fares Select and Optimal Shopping
Southwest Flight Integrator (Automated access to Southwest Airlines)

  • ResMail
Resmail offers convenient and clear documentation of travel requests.
Often flight schedules and cost estimates are needed for budgeting purposes prior to booking a flight. Resmail provides the information quickly and automatically. It can email or fax an itinerary, available schedules and fares for up to 36 different travel alternatives.
Once an electronic ticket is issued, an itinerary and receipt are furnished so that the traveler has documentation of the itinerary and for expense reporting.

  • Optimal Shopper®
With a few key strokes of their computers, the Optimal Shopper provides up to 50 alternate itineraries with lower fares. During the search process, Optimal Shopper® can search up to 1 trillion alternate itinerary combinations in a matter of seconds. After the reservation is made, Fare Checker searches for lower fares that may become available prior to departure.

  • ResQC
ResQC has the ability to perform an unlimited number of quality control checks based on customer defined travel policy parameters. Records with errors are noted and returned to the travel counselor for correction. ResQc checks for fundamental items such as whether a car rental is reserved in the same city where the flight terminates. More complicated checks involve detecting airfare rule violation and lowest fare verification.

  • Fare Checker
Even after a flight is booked and ticketed, Fare Checker will continue to search for a lower fare on the booked itinerary, until the outbound day of departure.

  • Waitlist Checker
Sometimes a preferred flight is unavailable at the time the reservation is made. Waitlist checker continues to search for an available seat on a preferred flight. It reviews availability until the day of departure. If a seat becomes available, this feature secures the seat on the preferred flight.

  • Seat Finder
We record where each traveler prefers to sit on an airplane, (aisle, window, front, back etc). If a preferred seat is not available at the time the reservation is made, Seat Finder searches continuously – 24 hours a day – until time of departure and secures it, should it become available.

  • Globalware Accounting System
Our integrated accounting and information management system provides us the ability to consolidate and analyze information quickly and efficiently. It also offers the flexibility to custom-design our own program applications, as well as add other software solutions to meet client’s unique operational requirements. Analysis of your data allows Premiere the ability to negotiate the best possible contracts.

  • NuTravel Self Booking Tool
NuTravel is a low cost self booking engine designed for the business traveler. Travelers can plan trips, check fares, track itineraries, and book reservations for flights, hotel and car in a fast and efficient manner. It is one of only a few booking engines that also offers a Southwest Airlines solution as well as the inclusion of many other low fare carriers. Private Fares is a FocalPoint™ pricing product that allows Premiere Travel to store detailed pricing information for negotiated airfare discounts in the reservation system.
